This meetup is open to all fitness levels and all ages for sunset walks along Boca Raton’s beach. All meetups will last 60-90 minutes depending on the group. We’ll all enjoy a casual walk, brisk ocean breezes and spirited conversation.
Our Sunday night casual sunset walks will take place on the beach. No shoes required as we will be walking ON THE BEACH. However, there are shells, rocks and sometimes jellyfish in the sand, so beach shoes may be a better choice. We will walk for 60-90 minutes, taking breaks as needed. This is a casual walk on the beach to relax and regroup at the end of the weekend. For those of you who are pressed for time or want a faster pace, feel free to break into your own mini groups as I will not leave any walkers behind. Bring water.
All meetups will begin at the Boca Raton South Beach Pavilion on A1A at Palmetto Park Road. Parking is available along Palmetto Park Road (with no restrictions) and in the pavilion (for one hour only).
All meetups are weather permitting. We will make the go/no go decision about an hour before each meetup based on the weather. Please check the site before leaving for the meetup. We don't provide our cell phone numbers as this is a public site, so please email us through meetup if you have any questions.
We are looking forward to meeting up with all of you!!
