Boston Amazon Web Services Meetup Group

Hello Everyone, Hope you are having an enjoyable summer.

I'm excited to share that our next session will present a panel of experienced AWS users, including;

• Joey Imbasciano (DevOps, Stackdriver)
• Barry Jaspan (Senior Architect, Acquia)
• Greg Arnette (CTO, Sonian)
• Craig Tracey (DevOps lead for Hubspot)
• And I’ll be up there too!

Our guest moderator will be Dan Belcher, Co-founder at Stackdriver. Thank you for arranging this Dan!

Get your questions ready as we head into a memorable evening of discussion on how these panelists have implemented and leverage AWS cloud infrastructure.

A big thank you to Microsoft for hosting this event in their NERD facility. Please note we are meeting in the Sampson/Paul Room. All guests must register (first and last name) with building security, located in the lobby of One Memorial Drive, prior to entering Microsoft’s facility. Please RSVP at least 2 days in advance of the meeting.

Dinner will be sponsored by Carbonite. Thank you!

Further updates as we get closer to this event. Looking forward to it!

- Mark Annati

    I really liked the format: panel of highly experienced users just doing Q&A. Very striking how many companies are trying to hire! As always really good food and venue. I liked the discussion comparing various cloud options...we talked about the rough edges of AWS but also observed that right now no one else can match their scale.

    Learned a lot. Very amusing start as half the attendees had positions they were trying to fill. Very different from the usual meetup.

    An excellent discussion! I was disappointed to have to leave early to catch a train.
