I'm super excited about this one! This is the first of a monthly Brightoneers film night showing documentaries that will inspire us into action. It's a chance to not just watch a film, but share the experience and discuss it over a drink afterwards with people like you who want to make life better in our city.
For the first night, I have bought a license to screen Shift Change - an awesome film about the power and potential of worker-owned businesses to transform an economy and make life better for everyone. It features a number of businesses including Mondragón in Northern Spain which was a big inspiration to me in starting Brightoneers. The screening will be free to attend so that we can be as inclusive as possible. On the night I'd really appreciate donations to cover the costs (a bit over £100 for the license.) Up to a fiver per person should do it depending on exact numbers, but if you can't afford this, no problem.

A huge THANK YOU to Natalie Lloyd for organising the venue at Brighton Uni.
