Tapestry embraces succinctness, pacing, and creativity in storytelling. Developers Chunxi and Frank will introduce and demo the tappable essay app.
Julie Yaunches (@julieyaunches) presents "Self-Taught"
In this interactive presentation, Julie will tell her story of building GoFest, including technical pitfalls and victories. Through audience participation, she'll construct a guide of self-taught "do's and don'ts," then make it available for download post-meetup.

As iOS developers we pride ourselves in our iOS SDK knowledge, but how much do we know about the language we are actually writing: Objective-C? Flatiron School teacher Joe Burgess will talk about features of Objective-C that you may not have heard of, as well as a few new features in Clang 3.4 that Xcode 5 may take advantage of.
