UPDATE:

Hi Everyone,
Due to the higher than anticipated demand for Thursday's Demo Night, I'm inviting you all to join us for drinks/food at ReBar (147 Front St Brooklyn, NY 11226) AFTER the presentations. Those of us at the demo night presentations will head over to ReBar shortly after the presentations (around 8:30-8:45pm) to meet up with the rest of the group. So if you're on the waiting list and want to attend, please feel free to meet us at ReBar for some post-presentations networking and drinks.

Please update your RSVP status if your availability has changed and feel free to ping me if you have any questions. Thanks and see you soon!

Hey everyone,
As promised, we're having another iOS Developer Demo Night on January 19th, 2012 @ 7PM. Developers will be presenting a wide variety of apps and frameworks they've created. There will opportunities for Q&A with each presenter and some time for networking. We will be meeting at Huge Inc. (45 Main St. Second Floor, Brooklyn, NY 11201). See you there!!

Presenters:

Brandon Williams - Cloud Assassin
http://www.cloudassass.in (http://www.cloudassass.in/)

"Cloud Assassin is a mobile adaption of the popular real-life game "assassin." After inviting a group of friends to play, everyone is assigned a random friend as a target, and it is your job to take them "out" by covertly snapping their photo. Once you accomplish this you obtain their target, continuing until one assassin is left."

Tracy Pesin - Bilty iOS SDK
https://github.com/bitly/bitly_ios_sdk

"The library provides an alternative twitter sharing UI to Apple's new tweetsheet, using bitly as the URL shortener instead of t.co (http://t.co/). Some reasons people might want to use it: They need to use bitly links because their company has a custom short domain (like nyti.ms (http://nyti.ms/)), or because they want to take advantage of bitly's sharing analytics. They want an out-of-the-box twitter sharing UI that is backwards compatible to iOS4. They want to build their own twitter sharing UI without having to integrate with an URL shortener"

Francisco Prat - LifeWellth
http://www.lifewellth.com (http://www.lifewellth.com/)

"LifeWellth iPad app which we released in the app store this October. LifeWellth helps investors create a plan for their goals such as retirement or college, helps them make trade-offs, and provides personalized suggestions to achieve these goals. We've seen good success so far in the store, but would love to get the groups feedback and thoughts on how we could make it even better! In our presentation we will be walking everyone through how a typical user might use the app, including adding a couple goals and creating their own financial plan."

John Balestrieri - Percolator
http://www.percolatorapp.com (http://www.percolatorapp.com/)/

"Percolator is a photo app for iPhone & iPad that turns user's images into interesting mosaics made out of circles. The technology behind Percolator is based on a circle packing algorithm I developed several years ago, but the real challenge was to design a product around it that was fun to use and could grab people's attention in the App Store. Percolator has just reached version 2.0 thanks to the strong, continued support of users."
