As a former NICU mom of twin preemies, I feel there needs to be a place for moms in the Brazos Valley and surrounding areas of Houston, Waco, and Temple to connect and support each other through the difficult experience of premature birth and life in a NICU.

This is an ongoing group for current and former NICU moms with a premature baby. Premature births and the experiences that come along with it does not compare to anything else. It's one of those life changing events that no one truly understands unless they too have experienced it. As a mom to a preemie you will undoubtably face a roller coaster of emotions and both physical and mental fatigue. What can help you is support from other moms that sat, or may even be sitting right next to you, in a very similar chair staring at their tiny preemie in an isolette and wondering what's next?
