Burlington Mini Maker Faire Saturday April 28th!

Hey Everyone,

Its official! Burlington Mini Maker Faire is set for Saturday April 28th at the Holly Hill Mall and Business Center here in Burlington from 10:00am till 9:00pm.

We are an officially sanctioned/licensed event (independently organized and operated) from Make Magazine and Maker Faire!

Our website is now live:
(Stay tuned for updates and additions)

In addition to promoting this event via, our facebook fan page, and twitter, we are also going to be featured in an article in "The Times News" on March 24th, and will have a feature in "Alamance Magazine" for their April edition. Keep an eye on the digital signs at the mall and on the mall's website for other advertisements soon.

We need YOUR help to spread the word. Word-of-mouth is very important to us in getting the word out to the community. Please share this message with your friends and ask them to do the same. Share on your facebook pages, on twitter, or in other social media. Tell your friends, family, and neighbors to come out.

Many members of the Alamance Makers Guild are taking part in our faire by exhibiting their projects OR by volunteering to help us out (setting up the event, policing the booths, etc). But we still have space available for other exhibits, and can always use more help. We have an "open call for makers" from now through April 14th. If you'd like to exhibit your project OR help us out then please contact us by e-mail at and describe your idea. We'll get back personally to everyone who contacts us.

We'll be launching a KickStarter campaign soon to help raise some funds to recover costs of doing this maker faire. Stay tuned!

Thanks and remember to spread the word. Hope to see EVERYONE there (either as an exhibitor, a helper, or just as a visitor)

Ben / The Alamance Makers Guild
