Please read: Tonight's meeting!

Hi Writers,

For tonight, please read work by Erika and Meg, found in the files section. You must be logged into to find these files.

How to comment: Please respond to these works. This does not mean hunting for things that you don't like. This simply means being an active, engaged reader. You may find that reading these pieces more than once will help you discuss them. Make notes in the margins (although this is not a time to correct grammar) and write a paragraph or two at the end that summarizes your impression of the piece(s). This note should be typed, but if you're pressed for time, please just write neatly.

Conduct during discussions: Writers are asked to refrain from long introductions/explanations of their work. The work should speak for itself. Writers are also asked to refrain from commenting during the discussion of her/his work. As readers and participants in the discussion, we should behave as if the writer isn't there.

Want to publish? The BWW is still working on an anthology. Please read the guidelines here and submit your work ASAP. (Editors need time to work with you, if necessary.)

New Members: I'm still taking a poll on when to have a "New Member" meeting. Many people out there in the mailing list probably can't make Wednesdays, so I'm trying to make this group accessible to them. If you've never been to a Wednesday meeting, please respond to this poll.

Santa? Santa.
