Here are the wine and food pairings for the My Wine Cellar event on September 21st:

*Vin du Lac 2007 Viognier, Columbia Valley - a very delicate Viognier, slightly nutty, with flavors of light honey, vanilla, and apple

~Paired with - Pork and vegetable stuffed Egg Roll with a sweet wasabi

*Byron 2009 Chardonnay, Santa Barbara Co. - flavors of apple and citrus, crisp and floral, soft mid-palate with a light fruit finish

~Paired with - Crab Stuffed Mushrooms

*Belle Glos 2009 Pinot Noir, Clark & Telephone, Santa Barbara Co. - a big Pinot, with black stone fruits, herbs, spice and notes of anise and vanilla, silky with a long oak and fruit finish

~Paired with - Duck Bruschetta

*Bishops Peak 2007 Syrah, Edna Valley - rich bouquet layered with aromas of black fruit and spice, flavors of black cherry, clove, tea leaf, cedar, and hints of vanilla

~Paired with - Eggplant Rolatini

*Estancia Reserve Meritage, 2007, Paso Robles - 61% Cab, 27% Merlot, 12% Petit Verdot - aged in 40% new French and American oak, chocolatey, with deep black fruit flavors, very silky with a long fruit-driven finish

~Paired with - Herb Roasted Filet of Beef with Creamy Potatoes
