Italian Prepositions

In this class (1 hour per class) we will finish the book Italian Pronouns and Prepositions. This class will help you fine tune your grammar when it comes to using Italian prepositions. You will need the book Italian Pronouns and Prepositions to take this class! We will take an in-depth look at the Italian preposition and how it is used in a variety of situations. Prepositions are by nature essential to building grammatically correct sentences in both English and Italian thus making this study important if you desire to be able to speak and write Italian with greater accuracy as well as being able to better understand spoken Italian.

This is a course that is definitely not for the beginner. In fact, we highly recommend you understand the material in Beginner 1 and Comprehensive 2 first. This class will be taught primarily in Italian using English only for required sentence translations and as a last resort for explanations.

Italian Prepositions covers roughly the last half of the book “Italian Pronouns and Prepositions” by Daniela Gobetti. If you decide to take this course you will need to have this book. You may find this book locally at Barnes and Noble or simply purchase it at:

I would personally recommend this class to anybody who has our grammar classes through Comprehensive 2 and is really looking to define and refine preposition use.

The class will cost $35.00 total for all 12 classes and it is due at the first class you attend. This will not be an enhanced class so there will not be online support. This class has a maximum limit of 12 students.
