Ciao a Tutti!

1. Language workshops – Learning Italian.

a. This is just a reminder that this week is your last opportunity to enroll in an Italian Language Workshop for this session. Your next opportunity to sign up for a class will probably be in July or August. Thank you to everybody who has already signed up making this our most successful Spring session ever!

2. Optional Membership Cards

a. Those who have optional membership cards that are either recently expired or soon to expire will be receiving a reminder for optional renewal shortly so you can continue receiving those discounts.
i. Details about the cards at

3. Social Meet-ups

a. Our next event is “The 4th Anniversary celebration at my house” Those who have signed up will be receiving my address and information today. If you have signed up but know that you cannot make it, please change your RSVP to show that you are no longer coming. This way we won’t end up with open capacity that others could have taken advantage of. Thank you.

b. On Sunday, April 29th is “Our final dance workshop for the season” and I truly hope you decide to come! I had to miss the last one but I am going to this one and was really looking forward to dancing with a lot of you! We are going to be learning some Foxtrot, Chacha and some kind of surprise fun dance. In addition they are going to have some door prizes! If you know Joe and Kathleen (who are putting this together) then you know it is going to be fun! RSVP at

c. I also wanted to highlight our Tiramisu making workshop that also includes a family style Italian dinner where Benito is going to sit down and join us for dinner! (The best restaurant meals are the ones where the boss is seated at the table!) We need to meet a minimum for this meetup so I really hope you can make it! RSVP at

Just one final note and that is it for this week. First I have to say I love you all and really appreciate all of your support. I am in fact humbled by by all of you. I do however need to ask of you a big favor. Naturally everybody understands that things come up and change our plans and sometimes even when we are in route something happens where we can't attend something as we had planned and there is nothing that can be done about it. Sometimes people just can’t come to events as planned and we totally understand that. However, if and when you realize you cannot come to an event or class that you signed up for, please change your RSVP to not coming. If you have problems changing your RSVP then please contact me and I will help you change it. We and business owners use those RSVP sheets to determine if there is room for others to come, restaurant reservations, how many servers to schedule to work, how much food to prepare, etc and when there is a large number of folks who can’t make it and who didn’t change their RSVP, it really reflects poorly on our group. This does not happen at every event. Infact lately, usually our attendance is really good but a little while ago there was an event at a sponsor on a day that they are normally closed (so they and one of their employees came in just for us) and we had 12 out of 30 people that signed up to come as “no shows” without changing their RSVPs. Our sponsor was incredibly gracious but I am sure he lost money that day and I was at the very least embarrassed so having said that, I really would appreciate everybody’s help in this matter. Thank you so much!

Ci vediamo presto!
