New workshops to start - plus great social events!

Ciao! First off, I'm so sorry I wasn't able to be there at Tuscan Bistro to say goodbye to Chuck. I hope everyone who attended had a great time. Chuck, good luck in Louisville - when you come back to visit, let us know so we can hold a meetup in your honor! Grazie per tutto.

On to news:

New Workshops to Start in October. I will be putting up a poll in the next week or two to determine interest in a Pronunciation class and a Divertente class to start in October. If you're interested, be sure to vote! If there are other workshops you'd like to see start soon, let me know and I'll see if we can fit them in the schedule, too.

Join us for dinner at Roma Tomatoes, our newest sponsor, in Summerville this Saturday the 29th at 7 pm. There is no set menu, so this is a chance for you to see what they have to offer, as well as spend time with some fellow Il Tavolers. Join us! RSVP here.

Party at Taylor's house in Daniel Island! At 6:30 pm on Saturday October 20th. A house party is a great opportunity to connect with other people in the group in a casual setting. RSVP here.

This is still over a month away, but I want to ask you to consider coming to the Cena in Italiano at La Fontana on Sunday October 28th at 6 pm, the dinner where we all speak Italian (and only Italian). I know it's intimidating to some people, but the fact is that comprehension will only get you so far. I think a lot of us (and I am included in this) are able to understand a lot but can't speak very easily. The only way to overcome this is to log the hours and just speak! This is a wonderful chance to do so - you know that everyone else there will be supportive and patient. Last time, some people brought dictionaries and phrase cheat sheets, and those were very helpful. So come! RSVP here.

As always, please be sure to change your RSVP if you're not able to attend an event, even if there aren't people on the waiting list. I know sometimes things happen and plans change at the last minute, so it's not a problem - just let me know! Thanks.

Have a wonderful week!
