The Mozzarella-making workshop at Bacco on 20 Jan. is full but I just added a waitlist, so sign up for that in case a space becomes available. These workshops are very popular, so we’ll be scheduling another one for March or April. Stay tuned!
Don’t forget to sign up for the Wine tasting and Travel Talk on 20 Feb at Meredith’s house. This midweek event will be a nice break – a chance to taste some wines, talk about travel in Italy, and mingle with some other folks from the group. Read more and RSVP here.
And, finally, WORKSHOPS! Many of you have been asking about them, and giving me input (thanks!) and Shannon and I have finally figured some things out. To make it easier, I’ll be keeping this page updated with a list of the classes so you can see at a glance what workshops are being offered, where, and when. Then of course there will be individual pages for each class.
These are all the new classes scheduled for now; I will be adding more, and I’m looking into holding short (6-week) classes at La Fontana in West Ashley on Saturdays and maybe some more Monday classes at La Fontana in North Charleston. Keep your eyes peeled!
A few changes you might notice: Now, instead of all classes being listed, only the first 3 classes will be listed on the Meetup site. This is so that if someone comes across the site and wants to attend a class, they can, but after the 3rd class they must wait for the next round of classes to start. Also, it will make it easier for everyone to navigate the meetup site and see what social events are coming up. Finally, classes will not proceed unless there are at least 3 people signed up for them. Thanks for understanding!
