Join Sea Kayak Carolina's Master Naturalist Sue Kershaw for a kayak adventure and beach exploration of Botany Bay Island!
9:00 am - Meet at Sea Kayak Carolina to ride the van (or caravan) to Cherry Point Landing on Wadmalaw.
Launch and ride the ebb tide out Bohicket Creek and into the North Edisto River. Cross the river for a Master Naturalist led beach walk on Botany Bay Island. The tide is predicted to be almost a full half foot below normal -- ideal for intertidal zone exploration!
The group is expected to be back at the Cherry Point Landing around 2:30 pm and back to James Island around 3:30 pm.
