Welcome, Chester County Book Readers!

Do you love to read, chat, and treat yourself to a good time? The Chester County Book Club is for you! Our members range in age from their 20s-40s. We will meet at local spots and coffee shops to talk about good books! Our meetings thus far have been in West Chester and Exton. We're open to new meeting spots so feel free to recommend them. We try to meet once a month. Books are chosen normally by taking suggestions and then picking one. Books are normally chosen by the people who show up to the meet-ups. ATTENDING EVENTS:
I realize that it's impossible to participate in every event, and there is absolutely no expectation that you attend events to maintain your membership. The number of events attended by members are NOT tracked in any way by myself or other organizers. The only thing that I ask is that if you RSVP “Yes” please make sure that you attend. Of course life is busy & hectic and things come up, so if you aren’t able to attend anymore, just please update your RSVP. This is only because with some events we may need to know the exact number of attendees.

MEMBERSHIP DUES:
To create a group, there is a fee for the organizer. I'm asking for 2 bucks a month from members that attend the meetups to try to make my money back.

CANCELLATION / RESCHEDULING OF EVENTS
From time to time, it may be necessary to cancel an event with only a few hours notice. Although we will try to avoid doing this, weather happens and even organizers have the occasional unavoidable illness or emergencies arise. It would be helpful if you let me know if you were definitely coming. Please don't RSVP yes and then not show. That will be cause for removal from the group and you won't be refunded.

I will post any cancellations to the group website no later than 2 hours before a scheduled event.
The posting will be followed up with an e-mail to all who have RSVP'd yes or maybe.
