I decided to start this group because all my friends are married with kids. I thought starting a group where "friends can hang out & go to events together" would be great.   If you are between 29-45, want to have a fun time, & meet new people - this group is for you.  I would love to do things in Chicago like: Dining, Festivals, Concerts, Movies, Fitness Events, Volunteering Get-Togethers & much more.

RULES: Meetup allows you to RSVP two ways: Yes and No. In each instance, you are allowed to submit comments with your RSVP, and you may also change your RSVP up to 24 hours prior to an event.

- Yes RSVPS! If you RSVP "YES," then the organizer and other attendees of the event are expecting you to come to the event. We are looking forward to meeting you and getting to know you. Please make every effort to honor your "yes" RSVP. The other attendees would like to meet you, and it disappoints everyone when you do not show up.

*Please be courteous and respectful if you need to change your RSVP from a "yes" to a "no." Sometimes the meetups are full and there are people on the Waiting List who would love to come. We would like to give these people on the Waiting List a chance to come to the meetup so PLEASE change your RSVP at least 24 hours in advance if you decide you cannot make it.

- 3 Strikes Rule! For events, the "3 Strikes Rule" can apply. In those events, if you have RSVP'd "yes" and do not attend, you will be given a strike. 3 strikes can give the organizer the right to remove you from the group. This also goes for inappropriate behavior. Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.

*This is not meant to alienate or embarrass anyone. The goal is to have an active/fun membership and members that get to meet each other at fun events. No shows make organizing successful events difficult for the organizer and less fun for the attendees.

- Comments Section! Please try to keep your comments positive. If you have constructive feedback, please send it to me or to the organizer of the event. Negative comments will discourage members from participating in events, and that means fewer people for you to meet.

Have a further question about the event? Post a note, and the organizer will get back to you.

Also, ALL members MUST have an actual RECENT photo of just themselves posted on their profile of their actual face without sunglasses and big hats please!  This must be your MAIN photo.  This is so we recognize YOU when we meet!
