Homemade Ice Cream w/o an Ice Cream Maker

I Scream, You Scream ...

Temperatures outside are searing so there's no better time to head indoors and enjoy a bowl or two of ice cream. And, we'll make it without an ice cream maker!

We'll learn two methods that use materials you probably already have in your kitchen. This will require some "exercise" on all our parts, so we'll be more than ready for the frozen treats.

For comparison, we'll make one batch using an ice cream maker.

To top it all off, or more accurately, to bottom it all off, we'll make homemade chocolate bowls using a very simple "tool" -- so easy, you'll want to make these everytime you have dessert.

We'll be making the following flavors:

Vegan Avocado Chili Lime
Raisin Peanut Butter & Celery
Orange Cardamom
Maple Bacon

and a Grapefruit Ginger Sorbet

You will leave with instructions and recipes so you can try this at home. You may never want to eat store-bought ice cream again!

About the Instructor
A web developer by day, David likes, rather needs, a way to express some creativity on a daily basis to keep his sanity and humor. As a kid, he was a fan of lego, tinker toys, lincoln logs, erector sets, capsela, balsa wood, and anything he could make out of tape and cardboard. To be honest, he's still into all of those things.
