HDR at Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum

I have never been but this looks like a really interesting place to photograph. They are offering a special photo tour on[masked] that pretty much gets us access to everything. It is broken up into a morning and afternoon session. I plan to be there for both sessions. Here is the info from the website. http://trans-alleghen... The photography tours allow you entry to the interiors of the Kirkbride, the Medical Center, Geriatric building, exteriors of all buildings, the cemeteries, and the grounds. These will be a semi guided tours without historic information. Check in for the photography tour is a1/2 hour before the start time. Please dress appropriately for the weather. Transportation will be provided to the cemeteries. Morning Photo Tour - $100 (8:00 am to 12:00 pm) Evening Photo Tour - $100 (2:00 pm to 6:00 pm) Both - $150 Some images I found on flickr: Also, you will have to pay in advance by calling[masked] Hope to see you there!

It was a long, tedious drive over the snow covered roads to get to Weston. It was very cold so I saw no brass monkeys out and about.

Please remember, as Tom pointed out earlier, this is a "pay in advance" tour and there is a limit on participants.

Welcome to the group Ken. As far as models go I would call and make sure as I don't see any info on their website.

I assume paying customers of the photo tours can pose in all these interior locations? (ie not just photographers but models can attend as well?)

Are you planning to make it a one day outing or are you planning on spending the night?

Hey Toby! Happy New Year to you too. Yes, the fee is per person.

Sounds interesting! Can you confirm whether the fee is per person or for the whole group? (i'm guessing per person)
