Evangelism is a function where church-goers spread their beliefs and hard sell people into their faith. This is a strong force that has very little pushback and has been allowed to run freely and open without competition or restraint.

Until now.

If they are the Evangelists, we are the De-Evangelists. Our purpose is to hold functions and events that spread the word of common sense, free thinking, & the ability to disprove many outdated religious beliefs.

About us (The People):

We are young charismatic people. Right now this is a small group and looking to make a large expansion. Several of us are career professionals and a couple of us own businesses. We are between 27 - 35 however younger and older ages are acceptable.

About the Meetings:

We meet in nice places, only. This is so we can be comfortable to speak our mind and not feel the need to hurry out. One of our meeting spots is a 20th floor Rooftop Deck with views of all of the Marina and through Malibu to Hollywood. A nice Fireplace and stylish yet comfortable seating allows a great workspace to get into serious chat.

What is this Movement thing you mentioned?

Our movement is to show the world in many ways that there is nothing wrong with spirituality, but when a Religious Organization uses fear tactics amongst other tactics to take peoples spirituality and turn it into control and profits.... that it has to, and will stop. And we will be the ones to do that.

What does this group do right now?

In the early formation, we meet once a month on the West-side of LA to discuss matters of growing the outreach. There are businesses that are supporting this through donations and support. There are also sister organizations that are providing assistance as well in promoting this group and it's purpose.

What is your long term goal?

Our goal is to hold many well known functions that get A-list Media attention, and allow us to penetrate the media. We aim to enlighten as many people as we can, that common Religion is based on false stories and conjured up to use as control over its followers and in turn steal their incomes.
