Hi and welcome to this group. Here's a little about me and why I decided to start this group. I just moved (back) to Pittsburgh from Raleigh where I was part of a similarly named group. And each month we would get together and decide on something we wanted to do in the coming month. The group did things like making a piece of art out of disposable items, assigning each other movies to watch in languages the other person didn't understand (and then listening to what they thought the storyline was), coming up with a recipe that involved pomegranate, doing a photo scavenger hunt etc etc etc. Just random fun creative challenges. Some of them were things we did as a group, but "most" were individual things that we did on our own time. We would get together at the end of the month to discuss or have a show-and-tell and then vote on the next month's "thing". So my aim is to get the same kind of thing going here in Pittsburgh! I miss it so I want to create it. :) The format is simple. We meet once a month to talk about the previous month's thing and vote on/pick the next month's thing. Simple, that's it. This is not your regular hiking meetup. If everyone went on the same hike, there would be nothing to talk about. :) So, if you love creative, out-of-the-box challenges and meeting new people, you should join!
