From the novice trader looking for a trading mentor to the professional trader looking to acquire additional trading capital, the Downtown Washington DC Trader Meetup Group seeks to:

-assist traders increase their market knowledge;

-provide an open forum for professional traders to highlight their method/style of trading;

-introduce traders to sources of trading capital (includes investors and proprietary trading firms).

Our monthly meetings will feature prominent guest speakers that are well known in the trading community, who will demonstrate their method of trading, which has afforded them an opportunity to trade for a living.
In addition to our monthly meetings, The Downtown Washington DC Trader Meetup Group will host one (or two) monthly webinar sessions moderated by a 40-year professional trader (former pit trader), wherein he will discuss his view of various financial markets and identify potential trading opportunities. This is also an opportunity for our members to pose questions to and have him provide you with his experienced insight on the market you are following.
