Bertrand Dory- Stepping Stones To A Great Life....

People usually take the most painful experiences of their past, and they let this define who they are. Not all the time, but each time they have to justify something that does not work in their lives. For example: not finding the perfect relationship partner, not having the house they deserve, not having the money, not having the health, not being able to have the job or the business they yearn for. In these situations, they blame their past for all these things that are happening (or not) in their lives. They come with reasons, justifications, excuses, and it is not their fault: it is what happened to them in the past.

Does this resonate with you?

Does this feel familiar?

They let the past defining who they are today!

In fact, in my own experience, I came to realise that we are not defined by our past for who we are today, we are defining the past based on who we are!

This is the initial realisation and point of empowerment of the "Steeping Stones to your Greatness" philosophy: realising that we define our past, and that everything that happened led us to be who we are: all the skills, the experiences, the talents, everything we have learned, realised, acknowledge, learned to overcome, the practices: everything is something that makes us richer, that makes us more talented, more loving, more compassionate, more in touch with who we are: this is the first stage of the philosophy: recognising where we really are, all we have created, all we have learned, and then using them and climbing the stepping stones to create a more accurate image of us (and not limited by the voices of self-judgement) and a seeing the real possibilities open for us.

The second part of this philosophy is from this place to see the possibilities for us, and this leads to an opening, to a realisation that we cannot imagine it, we cannot control it, we can only emerge into it, emerge into something unknown. Like the Acorn, it can not feel, see, imagine what a tree feels, sees or is, it can only see the ground around it and inspires to become a bigger acorn, or at least not get hurt…

Does this sound familiar? Are you feeling trapped in your life?

So you see how the 2 are working together? Trying to control your life and needing to see what is coming and in the same time keeping the blame game and the victim mode to justify!

This is the aim of this "stepping stones to your greatness" philosophy: it is to upgrade your sense of worthiness, of value, your image and reframe the past, and from this place, believing in the greater possibilities opened and accessible to you!

It is an empowering journey in the past and in the future… create the flow between them, from Now, from today, and this leads to the final part of the philosophy: embracing the NOW! Nurturing the soil, continuing the redefinition of the past, nurturing the greater image, living and creating the vision of us. This is a vital component, and this needs a lot of compassion, self-love, congruence and persistence.

This part of the philosophy is to anchor this in our lives and live it every day… and it is inevitable that the success, the greater image will emerge, and it inevitable that the past will be redefined, and it is inevitable that you will have a happier and more fulfilling life!

Life is a work in progress, the  buck falls with us do we work on the life we want and take the steps to empower ourselves to have an amazing life...
