What we’re about
I feel there is a need for single parents and our children to get together to meet and discuss things ,and to provide a support network for each other. The days out are child centered and activity oriented and any member can suggest a meet up. As Adults we can and do go out and have fun Nights out.Days out are organised by everyone for children ,and adults can be brought along,. We have successfully organised great days out like picnics, days at the beach, trips to Zoo Museums etc. Any single parent can join, no chancers like Hugh Grant in about a boy! It is not a dating site as such but there is no bar on romance either. Fun Nights out would be adult oriented and other non single parents can be brought along as guests. (We dont want to be too insular). As single parents we have so much in common and so much to offer in terms of experience and support and just understanding where the other person is coming from. This group should help build an extra level of support network , which is very much needed , especially in these austere times.
