Edinburgh is an amazing city - I know that's why I moved here. Its full of beauty, life and vitality but small enough to explore. It is culturally diverse with a lot to offer throughout the year - from the big art festivals to the smaller events, music, art, cinema, theatre, comedy, street performance, literature... you name it it happens here at some point throughout the year. I've set this group up to sample some of that with like-minded others in an accessible down-to-earth way. You don't have to be high brow or elitist to enjoy culture - it an experience we can all share - not just plummy aesthetes from Belgravia.

Join this group if you want to do more than "exist"; if you want to explore a cultural side to this great city - both high and low culture - we won't discriminate. Join if you know a lot about a certain subject and want to share that passion with others. Join too if you have no idea but just want to soak things up and "live". I'll post a range of diverse cultural events but it would be good to also hear of your ideas. It would be good too to get some volunteer assistant organisers to host some events of their own. We may overlap with events from other groups but that's okay, we'll just double-up and you'll get to expand your social circle even more.
