The Edinburgh Wine Meetup Group is perfect for anyone who likes wine in the Edinburgh area. It's a great opportunity to meet up with other wine lovers, to taste and learn a bit about different wines. You don't have to be a connoisseur, just someone who enjoys wine. Membership is free.

It's a very sociable group; we're very friendly and informal, and you'll be made very welcome at any of our events.

If you check out what's coming up (below), you'll see we run a wide variety of different wine-themed events. Some are very informal meetups and some are more structured events where we provide the wine and entertainment. Sometimes we link up with other groups and organisations, and we also organise visits to public events with a wine-theme. There's something for everyone, and we work very hard to come up with events that you'll enjoy. We also love to get, and act on, suggestions and ideas from our members.

There isn't a set fee; it can be anything from £1 upwards depending on the event. Because of the costs involved in organising events, we sometimes need payment in advance, which is done via paypal on the website.

We were recently 1, so a double Wine Meetup celebration: Birthday and Christmas!!

At Hudsons Bar, 7.30pm, Tues 24th November

Free buffet.

Cost £1 to be paid to the Organiser on the night.

This is a 'social', rather than wine tasting event, but Hudsons usually have a good wine offer on. Drink whatever you fancy.

No restrictions, bring friends if you like.
