2nd Annual Holiday De-Stress Party!

2nd Annual Holiday De-Stress Party!

Details

As a low-key follow-up to Chad's exciting holiday extravaganza, I (Richard) am hosting a Holiday De-Stress get-together at my place.

If you would like to add input, please go to the Bulletin Board and comment on this event's thread. Otherwise, please send a message to me (Richard) directly.

Last year we had a nice small "Anti-Holiday" party at my place. We did a potluck buffet-ish dinner and then watched "The Creature From The Black Lagoon"

My ideas so far: This year I want to reduce our stress even more. Instead of fretting over a dish everything will be store bought exceptions will only be made if you can convince me that shopping would be more stressful. Let me know what you are bringing, (category at least) and I will post so others can shop accordingly.

As this is De-Stressing we will play the evenings entertainment by nose. I have games and a good selection of DVDs, my current first choice would be "She" (original not the remake), I have the Deluxe Edition. https://www.imdb.com/t... (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0026983/) You can bring a favorite movie or game and we'll take a straw poll after we nosh. No holiday films allowed. PJ's optional." I have regular seating for seven and dining chairs for six more so I will expand the Attendees number if needed.

Happy Holidays!
:)

Parking here isn't great in the evenings once residents are home as many have second cars in the Guest spots. I will move my car to another location in the complex and free up that spot. Carpooling is never a bad idea.

I am out Willamette past both the cemeteries but before the Spencer's Butte Park, the equivalent of about 50th. After you go through the traffic light at 46th you drive uphill past the second cemetery, past Rockridge and then the next right is the entrance to Highlands Condominiums, the Highland Condo sign is not always well lit but we have a right turn lane for the complex entrance. The street is Stonewood but it is poorly marked.

After you pass the first speed bump bear left and uphill past the first streets that divide left and right head uphill to the very top and turn right onto Trailside Loop, I am number 202 the last unit (downstairs) of the first block of condos.

Visitor parking is the uncovered spots, the spot closest to the first covered parking spot is closest to my unit. Take the crossing straight and I am down under the upper unit's landing.
