Saginaw Vineyard just north of Cottage Grove has live music Friday nights. This week's act is Americana group Barefoot Leroy.
We'll share some wine and tunes there on the lawn in the sunshine to wind down the week. If you are in the mood for food, bring finger food to share with the group or you can get something there from Shady Oaks Catering who will be on site with food to buy.
There are picnic tables and chairs and grass. If you feel like a blanket, bring that as well. It will be getting cooler in the evening so dress appropriately.
A few practicalities:
By all means bring outside food to share but not outside booze. These people are putting on free music for us. We should buy their wine. They also usually have beer as well if that's your poison.
They do not allow dogs.
It is pollen season in the Willamette Valley and this is an outdoor event. If you have allergy issues, you may wish to bring your medication.
This event involves alcohol (though no obligation to drink it. There are other beverages). Please drive responsibly.
If anyone would like to carpool from Eugene, plan to meet in parking lot of Albertsons at 3075 Hilyard St. at 5:30 and we can arrange carpools there. If you need a ride, plan to pitch in $5 for gas. If you do want to carpool, please say so in the comments or message me to arrange, otherwise we will just meet at the vineyard.
I am cross-posting this to the Eugene 20s and 30s Group so there may be more people than those signed up here.
