You deserve a break! Your kids deserve an opportunity to develop some tight knit new friendships, to be stimulated, to learn new skills and to just plain be worn out! We are also mommies who are on a budget, but still want to have fun darn it! My goal is to make these meet ups thrifty, with the occasional "splurge". So lets collaborate these efforts and start arranging some fun regular activities.

The purpose of this group is for us as Mom's to get out of it what we put into it; meaning we all pitch in with ideas and do our best to make this (and keep this) an active group! Think co-op. All members contribute a resource, idea or arrange an activity once a months perhaps?

Some ideas for meet ups: saturday morning snack & coffee meet ups hosted by rotating members, chocolate, wine and (insert favorite tv show here) nights for Moms hosted by rotating members, multi-family garage sales, housewares swaps, coffee shop dates to share the joys and pains of motherhood while kids play, for book, toy & clothing exchanges, to share work from home ideas, teaching courses for moms and/or kids (Do you know how to garden? Host a little work shop for the Toddlers. Know how to make cuter little girls hair bows? Host a little class for Mom's), nature walks and hikes, craft or art project meet ups, picnics, park plays, babysitting coop, potlucks, baby swim etc....Let's hear from you! What would you like to do?

This group is for Moms (and Dads welcome) of one or more children, or pregnant first timers who want to learn from the more experienced set :)
