Tax season is just around the corner and we've got to prepare!

For this months As tax season approaches many investors get nervous about how and what to do. Many questions arise such as how to write off my travel time, how does the sale of this home affect taxes, how can tax burden be minimized, what's legal and what's not. This month we'll be having Steve Johnson (I swear, not me) from Eide Bailly LLP is coming to discuss how we may be able to prepare for tax time. He'll be here to discuss possible 1031 exchange strategies, planning your taxes, and proper strategies for reporting income, loss, and expenditures and more. Steven K. Johnson is a tax partner with Eide Bailly LLP in Fargo. He has over 37 years of experience in public accounting. He provides business and individual tax services, with a special emphasis in ESOPs, retirement and estate planning, real estate investors and insurance company taxation. He is a CPA and is a member of the ND Society of CPAs and of the AICPA. He is a 1977 graduate of Concordia College, with majors in accounting and mathematics.
