The Fifth Commandment

"You shall not kill."

The purpose of this group is to organize against the Massachusetts ballot question (November 2012) which seeks to legalize assisted suicide. Catholics and others in the Boston area who want to stop the new law are encouraged to join this independent grassroots effort. We speak only for ourselves. We will emphasize the Fifth Commandment and the Natural Law as the foundation of our opposition to state-sanctioned self-murder.

We will communicate by email and raise an alarm about the dangers of the proposed law by leafleting, writing articles and letters, rallies, marches, teach-ins, debates, etc. The more people who join the more we can do, so spread the word. We don't have much time so let's get started.

It is not necessary to write an introduction or post a photo to become a member, however this is not a debating society and people who support so-called "death with dignity" will be politely asked to take their arguments elsewhere.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
