Seed: mobile first content management
by Gary Ricke of Orbis Web Design (http://www.orbisdesign.com), Andrew Kamm and Jason Bell of Start Interaction (http://www.startinteraction.com)
Seed is a mobile first content management system focused on connecting and growing an audience by making the process of publishing content easier. It's a product that uses the power of Drupal to keep site content at the forefront by providing a simple to use, multi-device platform.
Orbis Web Design and Start Interaction will showcase the building of Seed, a Drupal based content management platform that makes creating content and displaying it across multiple devices fast and easy.
Gary will talk about the idea and process of getting from prototype to development plus show an example of how he could build a killer site for his client in roughly 24 hours build time.
Andrew and Jason will go over Start Interaction's process of mapping the feature requirements into Drupal and how we made decisions to reduce the contributed module overhead. There will be talk of entities and entity field query, and some awesome integration of the Isotope (http://isotope.metafizzy.co) jQuery layout plugin.
