I'm a huge tabletop rpg fan. I also love both boardgames and videogames. I like computers and programming but don't know a whole lot about either, would like to learn more. And of course media of all sorts. Love books, tv shows, and movies; tv is probably my favorite because it allows for a better story. I've also worked backstage in theatre so I guess I'm a bit of a theatre nerd.
I began my first foray into Star Trek earlier this year with TNG and couldn't have loved it more. I haven't watch any of the other series yet cause I want to finish TNG first but plan on getting around to them. "Firefly" but I'm sure a lot of people like that show. Honestly I have too many shows that I love; Community, Parks and Recreation, and Archer are some of my favorites. I'm a big horror fan so "The Thing" and "Alien" are probably up there in my top movies. "The Princess Bride" because who can't like that movie.
My favorite boardgame would have to be Twilight Imperium. Maybe it's just because I never get to play it due to the fact that it takes 8 or so hours but I just love all the different ways to play it. Similarly I'm a big fan of the Civilization franchise (even have the boardgame, the more recent edition). I think I started playing 3 when I was in 6th grade and just kept playing them. My favorite videogame is definitely Thief: Deadly Shadows. I bought it on a whim in a Steam sale because I've always like the stealth genre and when I started playing it I just couldn't stop. I got totally sucked into the world and I think I beat it in 3 or 4 days. A boardgame I haven't played but really want to is Shadow over Camelot. I really like those games where you have one person secretly working against everybody, there's just so much suspicion and accusations thrown around.
I'm a big fan of cowboys and westerns. My favorite rpg is Deadlands which is wild west cowboys meet supernatural monsters.
I recently moved to the Bay Area. I'm 20 and will be taking some classes at College of San Mateo in the fall
