He's the ghost with the most... quoteable lines in ghost movie history! (apologies to Casper)
When Adam (Alec Baldwin) and Barbara Maitlind (Geena Davis) decide to take a quick trip into town to stock up on supplies for their staycation, they don't realize that it's the last time they'll leave their house alive. Fortunately, it turns out that when they die they don't have to immediately worry about going to heaven or hell or any of that, and instead they're stuck in their own house for good! Ever the homebodies when they were alive, the Maitlinds are actually quite satisified with their lot in death, until their house is sold to the Deetz family.
In an attempt to get the Deetz clan to move out, Adam and Barbara try to learn as much as they can about being ghosts in a haunted house, but none of their attempts at scaring them out work. Eventually they form a bond with the goth daughter, Lydia (Winona Ryder), but before they can become one big happy family they're going to have to deal with the exorcist of the living - Beetlejuice (Michael Keaton).
BEETLEJUICE is vintage Tim Burton, and this film is filled with everything that made him such a beloved icon of the late '80s. So join the Action Pack for an all-new edition of the BEETLEJUICE Quote-Along, featuring conga lines around the theater during the big songs, subtitles projected onto the screen so you can quote-along with all of your favorite lines, and all sorts of other props to use throughout the movie! Just follow the instructions in your Handbook for the Recently Deceased and everything will work out perfectly. (Henri Mazza)
