Meeting people who glomp other people regularly, who don't scoff at a d20, that know how to trade wood for sheep, and can find me some Adegan crystals for my lightsaber.
The closest thing to writing fantasy that I do is plan out my D&D plot lines. Does that count?
The evolution of a nerd: Mario Brothers/Duck Hunt >> Dragonlance >> Anime (first began with Sailor Moon) >> Final Fantasy >> Soul Calibur >> Renaissance Festivals >> LARPing >> Dungeons and Dragons >> Fencing >> Anime Conventions
Gaming on the weekends (I currently run D&D Encounters on Wednesdays at Monster's Arcade, so I can't make any meetups on those days).
A-Kon, AnimeFest, ComicPalooza, Comic-Con (ANY), GenCon, PAX (ANY), Evolution 20xx
Any claims to geekery are entirely untrue. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got a Magic: The Gathering tournament to win (after I finish sewing my next RenFest costume with my D&D group).
