I believe that Aspergers is a word, not a sentence. I was diagnosed about 10 years ago, and have come to realise the potentual that all Aspergians have. I like most of us started out in life with several skill sets that I needed to have to achieve success, but slowly but surely got to where I need to be, which is happily married, and a good social circle.
I believe that Geelong needs its own group instead of having to trudge off to melbourne. There is also room for a partners with Aspergers Group in Geelong.
I have been talking to Gateways and they are favorably disposed to giving us room for meetings.
Membership is open to anyone affected by Aspergers in the Geelong region.
