Beni Ledi (879 m) is a fine corbett with lovely views over Loch Lubnaig and beyond. We will meet at the main car park in Callander. Then we will take the minimum of cars to the start of the walk at the small car park over the bridge on the west side of the River Leny just after the Falls of Leny on the A84. The good path, steep in places, climbs west to reach the SE shoulder of Ben Ledi and then over a few tops to the summit. The return will be by the route of ascent or via Stank Glen, depending on the conditions.

If the path is icy, some form of mini-crampons, at least, will be necessary.

Total ascent: 760 m

Estimated walking time: 4-5 hours, depending on the conditions.

Map: OS Landranger 57.
