Meet other women in their 30's and 40's in our community who celebrate being positive, strong, smart, fun, funny, adventurous, independent. We are past the bar/club scene of our 20's but still enjoy going out on occasion, happy hours, girl trips, meeting for dinner/coffee/lunch, hanging out or working out! We gravitate towards places with wine lists and not shot lists. Single or married, working or stay-at-home, kids or no kids... doesn't matter. What matters is if you're looking for positive, no-drama female friendships, travel, occasional intellectual discussions, occasional not-so-intellectual discussions, sharing bottles of wine and lots of laughs.
The regular meet-ups for this group will primarily be in the NoVa area, particularly the monthly 2nd Thursday happy hour. However, we are open to the District or Maryland on occasion and any location for our weekend or travel events.
A $1/person meetup fee will be collected at each event to help defray the costs associated with running the group, i.e. Meetup fees, PayPal fees, misc expenses.
