Crafts and Snacks at Charlotte Family Housing

Charlotte Family Housing provides transitional shelter and support to families in the area who find themselves homeless. The goal of the CFH is to empower homeless families to achieve long-term self-sufficiency through shelter, housing, support services and advocacy. The housing facility provides room for families to stay together when they lose their home. It can hold up to 16 families at a time.

We will be spending a few hours with the children staying at the CFH doing a summer-time craft and providing a snack. If anybody has any ideas for crafts the children might like, please let me know. All suggestions are welcome!  Children are also welcome, but please include them in your RSVP.

To help with the cost of supplies a donation of $5 from each participant would be greatly appreciated.

Hey guys, I'm so excited! If all goes well, we will be helping the kids decorate their own flower pots and plant a flower in each pot. So it may get a little messy with paint and soil, just wanted to warn everyone. It should be so much fun! I can't wait to meet everyone!
