Happy Hour on the Observation Deck at 100th Bomb Group from 4 to 7 PM

The 100th Bomb Group has one of the best views in Cleveland - if you enjoy watching planes land and take off (and, be honest, who doesn't?). They will be launching their happy hour any day now and are very excited to be hosting our group. They are reserving their Observation Deck just for us, so this is going to be a great night.

Daily draft specials include $2.50 for pints of Miller Lite and Leinenkugels Summer Shandy, $3.50 for a pint of Sam Adams and $4.00 for a pint of Guinness.

Since they haven't finalized the menu Victoria sent me a sample. Some possible food options include buffalo wings, crispy calamari, shrimp cocktail and a cheese sampler for $9.95; pizza margherita for $5.95; BBQ chicken pizza for $7.95; a quesadilla for $8.95; macaroni & cheese for $6.95 and a tater cone for $3.95. Two salads and four sandwiches ($9.95) will also be available. Featured entrees are a steak sandwich for $10.95 and the Bomber Picnic Basket (ribs, chicken tenders, tater tots and fried pickles) for $12.95.

Just for information: Friday nights they are having a DJ Night on the patio with grilled ribs and chicken and a baked potato bar, and Saturday nights is live music on the patio featuring tropical drinks from the Island Oasis Bar and peel & eat shrimp.

As usual, love this group! Great folks, fun conversation and a beautiful evening atop the Observation Deck. Did anyone else see those interesting pics in the hallway; showing historical views from the owners' experience and participation in the real life story of Hollywood's The Memphis Bell, defenders of liberty?

The weather was perfect for this event! The 100th Bomb Group is a great location to meet people and get together with friends. It was great to see Cheryl and Wes from the NIT Group and meet new friends as well!

The 100th Bomb Group is on Brookpark Road near the Grayton Road exit from I-480. It is actually at the corner of OLD Grayton Rd. (not to be confused with Grayton Rd.) and Brookpark Rd. That is no where near I-77.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
