Being a nurse by profession I always wanted to help my patients with just medicine. I learned touch was also an effective tool to use to heal and alleviate pain. I became interested in Reiki twelve years ago and became a therapist in both Reiki and Shamballah 1 year later. I introduced the practice to my hospital of employment's pain committee and nurse midwifery groups which did see a modest insurgence of the practice at the patients' bedside. However, the nurse midwifery group has to sought to expand with other complimentary modalities, such as aromatherapy and water therapy, while including Reiki in helping women in childbirth.
I'm hoping to connect with other therapists to share stories and techniques and hopefully network into expand my Reiki practice beyond the hospital setting.
My friends and co-workers tell me that I'm a compassionate person who is a good listener. I know I'm sensitive to the energies surrounding me and I would like to be able to work more with them.
Hello, I'm Veronica and I've been trained in Reiki and Shamballah healing techniques. I'm looking for other Reiki/Healinr Touch Therapists to share and support this valuable healing art.
