Art in the Digital Age: A Panel Discussion on Art and Technology

John Maeda, champion of the STEAM movement, has been quoted to say that art and design will transform our economy much like science and technology did in the 20th century ... is this true?

Join us for an evening of thought-provoking discussion centered around the intersection of arts and technology.

The panel will feature a combination of programmers, designers and engineers with experience or interests in merging art and technology. Moderated by our Campus Director, Sarah Lodato, the discussion will explore how these two disciplines are colliding in the 21st century. Where are art and technology merging, and how is this facilitating innovation? How does technology influence creativity? Do art and design belong among STEM disciplines? How does creative thinking enable technological advances? These questions and more will be posed to our all-star panelist lineup.

Following the panel discussion, we will open the floor for audience Q&A.
