AKC/Eukanuba National Championship

This year the show is being held in Orlando at the Orange County Convention Center, the second largest convention center in the nation. Situated in the heart of Orlando’s tourism district the convention center, amenities on-site include three full-service restaurants, eight food courts and parking. Its prime location on International Drive will offer exhibitors hundreds of outstanding shopping, dining and entertainment options.

For those that wish to attend both days and would like to stay overnight the site is surrounded by more than 113,000 hotel rooms. Akc is currently working on reduced rates and getting permissions for dogs to share rooms with owners. I expect that the AKC rule prohibiting non-participating dogs from being at the show would be strictly enforced.

In addition to the show there is also the AKC Agility Invitational and Obedience Invitational.

For those that want to see additional shows the Brevard Kennel Club, Central Florida Kennel Club and Space Coast Kennel Club of Palm Bay shows will take place at the same site December 14-16, 2011.

This event will also be in Orlando for 2012 thru 2015.
