Open Data for Non-Profits - an Introduction

Adi Eyal, from Code for South Africa, will talk at the newly launched Jozihub about Open Data and what it means for your non-profit. Matthew de Gale from the Praekelt Foundation will talk about the Transparency and Governance stream at the JoziHub, and how we may be able to assist Jozi non-profits in working through some of the issues Adi will talk about.
Adi is a co-founder of the Open Data and Democracy Initiative, an organiser of HacksHackers Cape Town and a member of the Open Knowledge Foundation Cape Town chapter.
Matthew is a Programme Manager at the Praekelt Foundation, and runs the Transparency and Governance stream at the Jozihub.
