Learn and practice practical self-defense and striking skills. Krav Maga is known for its use of instinctual movements and reality-based drills and scenarios.
The basic premise of Krav Maga is "don't get hurt." This means out on the street as well as in the training hall. We take care of our partners during training and while we try to make training as realistic as possible, we do so with concern for their safety.
There is balance in our training and we acknowledge that developing our mental capabilities is just as important as developing our physical techniques. Controlling emotions, dealing with stress, and improving our physical techniques are all parts that make up the whole of the Krav Maga system.
In each class we will learn, practice, and review self-defense techniques from the Krav Maga system. Krav Maga is a contemporary self-defense system that teaches how to prevent, deal with and overcome all kinds of physical and violent encounters. It's unique drills and training methods helps to condition you to be able to function at your best, physically and mentally, in stressful situations.
Next co-ed full-force self-defense course begins in December.
