Something dementia related... 'And still the music plays: Stories of People with dementia' by Clinical Psychologist, Graham Stokes
The Psychopath Test by Jon Ronson- fascinating, interesting and entertaining. Ronson takes a journey to meet psychopaths, from rich CEOs to men who've spent time in prison. Read it all in one go before passing it onto friends and insisting they read it. Also- Good vs. Evil by Philip Zimbardo (includes detailed information of his Stanley Prison Experiments), Mans search for Meaning, Viktor Frankl (difficult but inspiring read) and 'The Tell-Tale brain' by V. S. Ramachandran (one of my favourite neuroscientists explaining how the brain works, reporting on rare and fascinating patient cases)...
I'm always itching to talk to someone about the latest psychology text I've read but most my friends don't have a psychology background and don't share my enthusiasm for these books! Also to meet other's in their 20's to 30's around London who are in a psychology background and to do something productive with my Sundays!
