About the site

Sites 1 is located in Hoy Creek Linear Park which has peaceful, well-maintained forest trails connecting people and neighbourhoods. Park activities connect the larger community to the natural environment and the life cycle of the coho salmon that are raised just north of the restoration sites in the Hoy Creek Salmon Hatchery. It is also home to many different species of wildlife, birds, insects and invertebrates. This restoration project will remove the root systems of invasive Himalayan blackberry, which outcompetes native vegetation, and sees the planting of hundreds of new native trees and shrubs in their place.

Parking

Please park just south of Pacific St and Guildford Way
