Monday night puja - devotional practice

Details
We will be holding Abishekem every Monday evening.
Abishekem is a puja where we honour the Divine Mother through a ceremony of bathing the statue. It's a beautiful ceremony of devotion, great if you are looking for ways to increase your understanding of devotional practice.
Pujas can assist with manifesting, removing obstacles or improving health. It can help gain accomplishments on the spiritual path, stabilize one's meditation concentration and improve one's spiritual practice. We also hold Abishekem, Aarti and other devotional practices throughout the week.
More about Abishekem: a sacred puja involving pouring libations on the image of the deity being worship, amidst the chanting of mantras (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mantra). Usually, offerings such as milk (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milk), yogurt (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yogurt), ghee (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghee), honey, Panchaamrutam (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panchamrita), sesame (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sesame) oil, rosewater (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rose_water), sandalwood (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sandalwood) paste may be poured among other offerings depending on the type of abhishekem being performed. This ritual is routinely performed in some Hindu and Jain temples.
