The Salon, Writers Vic, Wheeler Centre - Book via link below BEFORE you RSVP

Details
Once a month (every second Tuesday of the month) instead of meeting at the Wharf we will support Writers Victoria and meet other writers outside of our Meetup Group!
"Welcome to The Salon, a new monthly event for Melbourne writers. We invite you to come and celebrate your milestones, share details of your current project and delight in conversation with supportive fellow writers. In August our theme is manuscript assessments. We welcome seasoned assessor, editor and mentor Clare Allan-Kamil as our guest. Clare will speak on the benefits, fears, expectations and results of having your work professionally assessed. Curly questions are more than welcome! - See more at: http://writersvictoria.org.au/what-s-on/event/the-salon-august/#sthash.6bjj0ndy.dpuf"

-----------------
This will not be a Meetup run event. This event is being run by Writers Victoria.
We can, however, meet a little before hand at around 6pm, 15 minutes before it starts. I'll have a sign out on one of the tables on the 3rd floor where the SALON is held. Come and say hello. If you can't find us you can text me (Mat) on 0403 193 785.
Afterward, around 7.45-8pm, we can head to Father's Office Bar (http://www.fathersoffice.com.au/gallery?file=Outside/MsAnna%20117.JPG) for food and/or drinks and chatting. The entrance is over the road from The Wheeler Centre (Walk out of the Wheeler Centre onto Little Lonsdale Street, cross over the road, then turn right and walk toward Swanston Street. Stop (before Swanston Street) when you see a door with a sign stating Father's Office and then go upstairs. All up it is a 23 second walk. Happy Hour is from 8pm, when we arrive: http://www.fathersoffice.com.au (http://www.fathersoffice.com.au/eat))
Come on out and meet some like-minded folks who enjoy writing.
New and past members are always welcome!
We love to see new faces, so don't be shy!
