Welcome!

Simply stated, this meetup is designed for writers of Poetry. The three words “Writers of Poetry” cover a lot of territory, so whether you’re a novice writer who jots down your poems in the margins of a notebook, a professionally published poet, a reincarnation of Shakespeare himself, or somewhere around and in between all that, this group has a place for you.

The intent for this group is to have an open, welcoming space to share your work and— when requested—receive helpful feedback and useful critiques on your work. Each month will also likely involve a dive into the waters of a particular technique for writing poetry in order to help build a solid foundation from which to grow.
