Tabletop Miniatures Games Demo Day!

We've all been there. Yearning to try one of those newfangled tabletop games with all the super-cool models and the spiffy, modern rules. But we've resisted the temptation. Money, time, responsibilities, finding fellow players -- all those obstacles that prevent us from rewarding ourselves with a few hours of rollicking fun and escapism. Well, here's your chance! A host of gamemasters are pooling together to offer a cornucopia of game demos. These are the alternative games that thrive among enthusiastic pockets of fans: Dystopian Wars, Uncharted Seas, Infinity, Freebooter's Fate, and more! On Saturday, February 4th, at Eagle & Empire game-store, in its new location just south of Old Town Alexandria, these game instructors will host Tabletop Miniatures Games Demo Day. Just show up and play! The instructors will provide all models and accessories. There will be three, 2-hour gaming sessions throughout the day. Experiment and try out 3 different games; or fill your day with your favorite game multiple times; or choose a convenient time to squeeze in that one game you've been pining to try. Also, there will be a large-format, all-comers homebrew game: Crosstime Crossroads! Command a roving band from Earth's history, or from a history that never was, or a history that is yet to be! Compete for treasure, private agendas, glory, or just plain dominance! So mark your calendar, earn that kitchen pass, and join the fun.
